Pregnant, at last!
As a first-time mother, I had to avoid certain foods while pregnant. I started by avoiding caffeinated drinks, coffee, tea, and sodas, which gave me a few options when it came to beverages. As I double-check everything while doing groceries, I am lucky enough to be allowed to drink pasteurized cow’s milk. And it led me to the discovery of this milk brand!
Super Rich Milk
My husband and I went to the nearest Don Quijote store from our apartment. It was just a random visit, checking if we would like to buy anything from the store. As we got to the back we were intrigued by the space in the middle of the milk cartons. As it turns out, this specific brand sold out very fast. And we decided to buy this super rich milk from Don Quijote!
That brand is Meito’s Kyodo Dairy Industry Solid Rich 4.4 1000ml (協同乳業 しっかり濃厚4.4 1000ml). As per the label suggests, the rich taste of milk is so satisfying it became a staple in our household. We were able to buy it for around 200 yen (round-off price) but I saw it being sold for 260 yen on Amazon. If you happen to pass by Don Quijote, don’t forget to try it!
